Cincinnati Reds Come Back

Yesterday, the Cincinnati Reds demonstrated that they were resilient again. After a tough three days in St. Louis in which they lost two out of three, the Reds came to Milwaukee and beat them two out of three. Now in St. Louis, the Reds were in all three, making it tough to lost two there.

So they came to Milwaukee, to face the Brewers. Now some say the Brewers are the favorite to win the Central Division. The Reds lost last night after blasting the Brewers Monday night. Today was the rubber game. It was tough. The Reds jumped out to a four run lead. Lost it. Then the Reds went up by two runs. Lost that lead. Extra innings. Drew Stubbs blasted a home run to dead center. Francisco Cordero shut the door. Reds win, 7-6. Heroes included Stubbs, Cordero, Brandon Phillips, Joey Votto and Aroldis Chapman. Chapman was stunning. If you get a chance, look at his strikeout of Brewers slugger Prince Fielder. Wow. If he ever gets a consistent change-up, watch out. Anyway, the Red showed they can shake off a bad weekend. Here's the story with video.
