Politically correct radical liberals lose their minds over white actresses on a magazine

The Huffington Post, overly sensitive politically correct liberals, and radical feminists have freaked out over the cover of the Los Angeles Times section The Envelope which featured white actresses. (Tweet and comment below.) Kate Harding tweeted,

Really? A couple of things, Ms. Harding and radicals. The article for the magazine is the view of top actresses in recent movies about the treatment of women in cinema. They just happen to be white. Yes, the Huffington Post points out that there are women of color that could have been added. So what? It's the opinion of the editor that these women have excellent chances at Oscar nominations. Do we need a quota for an opinion of talent? Second, being in a picture with only white women does not mean that any of these actresses are against diversity. Don't blame them.

I imagine that some of these women on the cover are liberal. At least I can say that for Jessica Chastain. (Wikipedia) Radical feminists and liberals should not eat their own. I'm a liberal and the cover didn't bother me. If you want more diversity in cinema then cast more people of color in parts. But no quota on judging what is top talent.

Conservative Republican Gingrich: "the President cannot obstruct justice."

Conservative Republican Newt Gingrich said this, ""Technically, the President of the United States cannot obstruct justice." CNN Report. he said this to the National Press Club. Gignrich pointed out that President Trump had the right to fire FBI Director Comey. Yep, he can. But any power of the president is not absolute. For a guy who thinks he's smart, Gingrich has the all the comprehension of a fourth grader when it comes to the Constitution.

The amazing thing about Gingrich's dangerous idea is that in 1998 he voted to impeach Democrat President Bil Clinton for ... obstruction of justice. What hypocrisy. So, Gingrich is not motivated by a love of America. It's about love of the conservative Republican.

The President is not above the law. He can't violate the Constitution. I mean you would think Gingrich after trying to remove Clinton for obstruction would know that. Gingrich would merely need to read the newspaper to see how the Constitution works. Newsflash. Trump's Muslim ban was struck down by two Federal circuits. There are checks and balances.

Finally, let me address Gingrich's blaming the shooting of Congressman Scalise on the liberals. He said on Fox News' Outnumbered, "It's part of a pattern. You've had an increasing intensity of hostility on the left." The demonizing of liberals started with Reagan and was made into an effective political weapon by Gingrich when he was Speaker of the House of Representatives.

It is despicable for someone to shoot another for his political views. Sclaise's assailant was evil. That does not mean liberals are encouraging violence. It is not the liberals who are enraging the people. It's the conservative Republicans. The conservative agenda is an attack on working people and the middle class. Just look at the Trump health care plan. Cuts to Medicaid, and allowing insurance companies to charge more for pre-existing conditions. The plan is designed to fund tax cuts for the big rich. Crush the working man to help the big rich. This has been the conservative Republican ideology for decades. And the conservatives wonder why there are so much passionate protests this year.

The possible crimes of the Trump Campaign

I love Alan Dershowitz but he's been running around and defending President Donald Trump. Basically he's been saying Trump committed no crime. Look, I could agree if there is no evidence to prove he meets any violation of any statute. But what Dershowitz fails to get is we don't have all the facts and if we look at all the smoke from the Trump campaign, there are definitely federal statutes that are applicable. Again, assuming there is evidence, the more I see of Dershowitz, the more I think he's trying to represent Trump.

But what are some of the crimes that special counsel Robert Mueller can look at? Well, thanks to the conservative The Daily Signal, here's an article that lists them. While the article implies that it will be difficult to prove the violations, there are laws that cover any of the evidence if it exists. We're talking about everything from The Logan Act to Campaign finance laws.

Rebutting Dershowitz, is former Watergate prosecutor Nick Akerman. Here's a video he did with Chris Hayes of MSNBC where he argues that Trump has already committed the crime of obstruction of justice. He also wrote an article for the New York Daily News.

Ari Melber of MSNBC also had a panel of lawyers listing the offenses that the Trump Campaign could be charged with.

So, Alan. I hate to say this. Shut up. You don't know the evidence. In fact when asked whether he thought Trump colluded with the Russians, former FBI Director Comey would not answer in a public hearing. None of us know the evidence. I can say there is smoke in our house. Whether that's a burnt roast or a fire in the basement is the question.

Shut up Donald Trump!

Sigh. This is getting tiresome. Conservative Republican President Donald Trump blames former National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn on Obama. If you recall, Flynn was fired as National Security Adviser by Trump less than one months into the job for lying to Vice President Pence about contacts to Russia.

Let's go over the facts, Lying Donald. Former President Obama fired Gen. Flynn in 2014. Okay, his security clearance was renewed in January 2016. U.S. News and World Report. After he left the Obama administration, he received approximately $33, 000.00 from Russia Today, a propaganda TV network for Russia. According to the U.S. News report, he also received a whopping $530,000.00 from Turkish government interests. That led to his retroactive filing as a foreign agent for Turkey. Further, Flynn was one of the principal national security advisors if not the main advisor for the Trump campaign. But Joy Reid and Andrea Mitchell of MSNBC report that the Trump campaign vetted Flynn. Video below.

Folks, Harry Truman used to have a sign that read "The buck stops here." Flynn was no longer in the Obama administration and was fired by Obama. This Russia and Turkish stuff by Flynn comes as he was in the Trump campaign. Lying Donald, stop passing the buck. You sir, were responsible for Flynn. He was and is your guy. Donald Trump. SHUT UP.

Shut up Ivanka Trump

First Daughter Ivanka Trump was booed and received hisses when she said this at an international conference about women's entrepreneurship,

“I’m very proud of my father’s advocacy, (regarding family leave) ” she said, calling him “a tremendous champion of supporting families and enabling them to thrive.” Politico, April 25, 2017

Your father does not support families or women. Repeal of Obamacare will leave millions without health insurance. Defunding Planned Parenthood will leave women without health care. We all know about how he bragged about using his celebrity to sexually assault women. And he's been accused by women of sexually harassing them. So Ivanka, "Shut up." Oh, but please keep trying to moderate your crazy father. He does have the nuclear codes.

One last thing. I love this question from the moderator, Miriam Meckel.

“The German audience is not that familiar with the concept of a first daughter. I’d like to ask you, what is your role, and who are you representing, your father as president of the United States, the American people, or your business?”

Ms. Meckel, may I add that the American people are not familiar with the concept of a first daughter as political advisor.

Shut up Donald Trump, part 2. Taking Iraq's Oil is immoral, and illegal

If you watched MSNBC's Commander and Chief Forum with presidential candidates Democrat Hillary Clinton and conservative Republican Donald Trump, you heard The Donald say we should have taken Iraq's oil after the disastrous 2003 Iraq war. "To the victor go the spoils" he said. Well, Donald you are again showing that you are a fascist. (by the way, he's made the argument about taking the oil before, five years ago. I called him out on it back then.)

Stealing another country's resources after war is immoral, and illegal. The Wall Street Journal reports that such action like taking Iraq's oil would violate the Geneva Convention, and the Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907. Not to mention, it is the simple crime of theft.

Look, here Donald. We are not the conquering Romans or Nazis out to plunder other countries. We are Americans. We stand for justice and freedom.

I'm introducing a new series for this blog or label for articles. It's based on my desire to tell people to just "Shut Up." The first two articles were previously published. One for Chris Rock and his pc Academy Awards ceremony and of course the other is for Donald Trump, a guy that I'm sure there will be more in this series.

Shut up Donald Trump, U.S. kills top ISIS leader

On the campaign trail, conservative Republican Donald Trump has often said the United States doesn't win anymore. Specifically he says that the United states doesn't beat ISIS.

So this should shut him up. The United States has just killed ISIS' number two in command and minister of finance, Abd ar-Rahman Mustafa al-Qaduli. ABC News. So Donald, what do you have to say about that? Oh, and the guy who was and is the Commander in Chief during this victory? PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA.

Waiting for your reply. Or maybe you and lyin' Ted Cruz should just keep fighting over your wives. Here's an idea, Donald. Just shut up about losing to ISIS. Because Barack Obama should be known as the Killer of Terrorists.

Shut up Chris Rock

So I'm watching the Oscars and am waiting what host Chris Rock would say about the lack of people of color in the acting categories. And his monologue was funny but went on too long about the lack of blacks in cinema. I mean the whole thing was about that. Then he insulted the first presenters Emily Blunt and Charlize Theron by making a joke about Emily and saying she's accompanied by somebody even whiter. These actresses didn't need to be insulted like that. They can't help it if they are white.

Then there was the first filmed skit. It featured scenes from this year's movies with black actors interrupting the scenes with jokes about not being in these films. Not funny. Why? The type of racism that they portray is not present. For example, NASA would not abandon an astronaut on Mars because he was black. Maybe that's funny in Blazing Saddles when that type of racism existed but not now.

Then Chris Rock decided to say something about one actor who was not nominated. Michael Jordan. When Rock introduced Jordan, he said he should have been nominated. Really? Does that mean the other actors in the Best Actor category were not deserving? Maybe you want a quota system? It insults the performances of the actors who were nominated in this category. Then there was the unfunny Black Moment in Film sketch. And then there was the video piece where Rock interviews black people about the controversy. That skit come at almost two hours later! Sigh.

Enough Chris Rock. Shut up. It was just two years ago that Lupinta Nyong'o won an Oscar for 12 Years a Slave. Hollywood is the most liberal segments of our society. They have pushed diversity for years. Sure, there are problems getting more people of color in film. I do want more people of color to be considered for roles that don't require a particular race.
