Mitt Romney lies

Remember back in November of 2011 when Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's campaign made an ad which featured President Obama saying this, ""If we keep talking about he economy, we're going to lose." Big problem. Obama didn't say that. He was quoting somebody from Sen. John McCain's campaign. Outright fabrication.

Now Romney has done it again. On Thursday, Romney stood in front of the failed solar energy company Solyndra. He said this, "“an independent inspector general looked at this investment and concluded that the administration had steered money to friends and family, to campaign contributors.” There's even an ad that says this. It makes the failure of Solyndra which received government stimulus money sound like criminal behavior. One thing. IT'S NOT TRUE.

That's the way Republicans play politics. It goes back to 1988, when George H.W. Bush blamed the Willie Horton crime spree on Gov. Mike Dukakis. You saw this lying during 3004. That's when right-wingers made war hero Sen. John Kerry look like a coward. Now, Romney directly tells the lies.
