Okay, Bernie Sanders and I share the same first name. But that's not the reason I'm endorsing Senator Sanders for President. As a Democrat, my brain tells me Sanders can't win. He's a socialist. But my heart knows he's right.
Sanders didn't go into politics for ambition or fame or ego. He's always had a belief that the rich and powerful were crushing the middle class and the poor. It's a belief that government can help people to live happier lives. Yes, it's anti-Reagan. Socialism is not communism as some conservative Republicans might have you believe. It's more western European. Sanders believes in universal health care, i.e. Medicare for all. College tuition free to public schools. It's all about getting government to work for the middle class.
Bernie is right. This country needs a revolution. It must be a country that is not for corporations, or the big rich. It must be a country for the people. This March 15 in Ohio, vote for Bernie Sanders for President of the United States.
