UFOs and a crop circle in California

In this report from San Francisco's KGO 7 (ABC), UFOs were sighted all over California from Hollywood to Sacramento on New Year's Eve. Video story below. People saw four to six lights. And according to the video, one witness saw the lights form a diamond shape then spread apart and fly away. This report comes a day after a mysterious crop circle was discovered in Salinas, California shaped like a computer chip.

In the show, The X-Files, FBI Agent Mulder has a poster of a UFO with a caption that says, "I want to believe." Yeah, I would like to say "aliens" are responsible. But I'm not ready to say this activity is attributed to extraterrestrial life. That's a large conclusion that requires large proof. As for the crop circle, I think it's a hoax as there has been a YouTube video like found footage of two guys in the field looking at a mysterious light and one saying, "Dude, this is a crop circle" upon discovering the bent grass. This video is a little too convenient. Found footage right before the circle is discovered? I would like to say, "Dude, this is a hoax" and am waiting for the reveal of an upcoming movie or promotion.

Still, I believe legitimate UFOs should be scientifically studied.
