Those crazy Birthers, Part Thirty

While campaigning in Michigan, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has now embraced the racist right-wing of the party, the Birthers. Romney commented on his birth in Michigan and made this "joke" to the delight of the Republican crowd.

"No one's ever asked to see my birth certificate. They know that this is the place that we were born and raised."

Romney later told CBS that it was a joke about he and his wife. Really? It's obvious the joke was about President Barack Obama since many in the Republican Party question his American birth. As a joke, it's a shot that takes into consideration those racist beliefs. I mean he's not making fun of the Republicans who believe in this stuff. Romney is taking a shot at Obama. And he is now embracing racism.

Here is Ed Schultz on the Romney's new embrace of the Republican Party's racist right-wing views.
