Chutzpah! Romney takes credit for saving the auto industry
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is claiming credit for revival of the auto industry. Wow. This is the guy who wrote in 2008 that Detroit should go bankrupt. But the truth is this. Former President George W. Bush and his successor, President Barack Obama saved the auto industry by bailing them out with government money. Romney didn't support public money to save the auto industry. Because of their actions, the American car industry is thriving. And thousands of jobs were saved.
