Jon Stewart examines why Republicans can't get the African American vote
Jon Stewart of the Daily Show takes a look at why Republicans can't get the African American vote. Ahhh, for the last fifty years, Stewart points out the Southern strategy designed to appeal to white racists to win southern states in presidential elections and there was Texas governor Rick Perry's ranch called "Nig__rhead" as reasons. Well, Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky) went to Howard University and made a fool of himself. He brought up the fact that southern Democrats opposed the civil rights but forgot to mention that these southern Democrats became Republicans. See Dixiecrats and the late Sen.
