The motive for the Wisconsin shootings

While law enforcement and the media hint at the motive for the killing of six people at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, I'll go ahead and name it. Racism. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the alleged shooter, Wade Michel Page was Skinhead and a member of racist white power rock band. The band had heavy metal and punk stylings. No surprise. You wouldn't expect them to play jazz standards, would you? The band was called "End Apathy." And Page formed the band because he wanted to “figure out how to end people's apathetic ways [.]”

I think it's obvious what happened here. Page was an angry white man. He sees the terrorist attacks on 9/11 as a war not by a tiny fraction of Muslims but an attack by all Muslims. The fact that white people are no longer a majority must inflame his fear, anger and hatred. To a guy like him, it's the end of the white race. In his own way, he had to end the apathy. So, he took action. It didn't matter that Sikhs are not Muslims. He saw turbans, beards and dark skin. Hatred has no logic or intelligence.
