Stephen Colbert takes on Bachmann and Gingrich over alleged Muslim influence

Stephen Colbert parodies Congresswoman Michele Bachmann's (R-Minn.) desire to investigate government officials for possible Muslim influence. Specifically, she is concerned about Huma Abedin, aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. There are no connections to the Muslim Brotherhood for Ms. Abedin. Then he goes over former House speaker and Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich's defense of Bachmann and McCarthyism. What?! Folks, Gingrich won the South Carolina primary and at one point was leading the polls for the Republican presidential nomination. Oy. Anyway here's the piece with an interview of Congressman Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) who's is a Muslim. Funny stuff on a sad topic.
