Oh, oh. Bronson Arroyo Flew Back to Cincinnati

Lance McAlister is reporting that Cincinnati Reds Bronson Arroyo has flown back to Cincinnati from Philadelphia. Last night Arroyo got lit up for nine runs in three innings. His fast ball was down from ninety miles an hour to about 86. He looked more tired. From what I can tell, there didn't seem to be anything wrong with him mechanically. Could it be a lingering effect from the mononucleosis?

Bronson has been a consistent pitchcr for the Reds. He may not be a flamethrower but he keeps you in games. In 2006, Arroyo was a NL All Star. He has a solid arm. For the last six years, he's pitched over two hundred innings. Update: Good News. It's being reported by Lance that Arroyo was diagnosed with back spasms. He is not expected to miss his next start.
