This is what drives me nuts about the former Bush administration cronies. They want to rewrite history and claim credit that they killed Osama Bin Laden. Yet how soon they forget, months after 9/11 (March 13, 2002), President Bush deemphasized the hunt of Bin Laden. And the worst part is when they criticized Obama for going to Ground Zero on May 5, 2011 as looking like a victory lap. Huh? Remember when Bush flew onto the aircraft carrier in his resplendent flight suite, and basically said the Iraq war was over. Remember the "Mission Accomplished" banner? Anyway, Jon Stewart of the Daily Show does a better job of explaining this than I. Check out his piece.
