Play ball! Baseball starts.
Hooray, the 2012 Major League Baseball season has started. Today was the first spring training game for the Cincinnati Reds. They played the Cleveland Indians to a 6-6 tie at the Goodyear Ballpark in Arizona. Two home runs by the Reds should be noted. First baseman Neftali Soto blasted one to right in the fifth. If he pans out, there's going to be less sting with the Yonder Alonzo trade. And Todd Frazier hit one out in the bottom of the ninth. Frazier as a utility player or back-up to shortstop or third has some pop in his bat. Here's the story.
