In a recent interview with CNN's Don Lemon, William Shatner (Star Trek's original Captain Kirk) said the fictional Kirk would kick TNG's Captain Picard's ass. Shatner also talks about the television's first interracial kiss he had with Nichelle Nichols and J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. Yes, I agree with the Shat that the original Star Trek had a more "soul."
