Yahoo ran this story about a guy who photographed a light beam erupting from a Mayan pyramid. The pyramid is El Castillo, a sacred temple to the Mayan god Kukulkan. Hey, could the Mayans be right? Is the end of the world coming in 2012? Nah, says a scientist. It's just a defect with the IPhone. Anyway, cool video of the picture below.
