Stephen Colbert on Paul Ryan and Ayn Rand

Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan lately has been denying author Ayn Rand's influence but in 2005, he indicated that Rand is his inspiration. Just so you know, Rand's philosophy is laissez faire on steroids. It's about the positives of being selfish. Anyway, here's Stephen Colbert doing a piece on Ryan and Rand. And he interviews a Rand expert, Jennifer Burns, to find out why Rand is so popular among the right wing.
